Rochester, NY - Regional Distributors' social mission to support veterans is reflected on the company’s newest truck graphics that can be seen making deliveries throughout Rochester, NY and the Western New York area starting today. The graphics read, “Supporting Our Troops. Hiring Heroes,” and display a montage of patriotic symbolism and imagery. The design and message have already garnered compliments and admiration by local community members for its powerful and relevant visual message. These new truck graphics join Regional's already award-winning fleet graphics. The company's customer service focused graphics were one of 10 winners selected in Fleet Owner's 2014 Vehicle Graphics Awards. The awards salute fleets for outstanding vehicle graphic designs and color schemes and Regional hopes to receive the same recognition for Fleet Owner's 2015 awards.

As shared in the company's core principles and values, Regional Distributors, Inc. credits employing the right people as the most important component of their success. One area that the company has been particularly successful discovering talented, high quality employees has been the ranks of the country’s military veterans. The effort in hiring veterans resonates with the Tracy and David Scalen, president and CEO and executive vice president, respectively, as both their families have a history of military service. “Both of my parents were in the Marine Corps and David's dad was in the Army,” shares Tracy Scalen. “Hiring vets is something that we are passionate about and that makes us very, very proud. Our vet team members are great workers. They are ‘buttoned up and squared away,’ as they say, and are highly dependable, highly trainable, and eager to learn.”

Regional Distributors, Inc. plans to further continue its support of veterans by donating a portion of sales to a local veteran support organization. This worthwhile initiative is in early stages of planning and the company hopes to share news later this year.
